So, I just decided it’d be fun to do a weekly wrap up of all the random things I’ve been enjoying this past week. Things I love, or learned something from, things I think others might enjoy too. I hope you appreciate them as well…and so, here are my first weekly top 5 favorite things:
1. My buddy @joncarolino tweeted the most beautiful tweet. He had a sweet picture of his daughter, who recently passed away, as the cover for his new album called RUINS, which will release this week. It was such a tender tribute from her father, and it really tugged on my heartstrings.
2. Myquillyn over at theNester.com wrote this post called, “Why the World Needs the Makers to Say No Bodly.” Where she talks about the battle a “creative” wages over their mind and interruptions from life…I could really resonate with her.
3. Came across this post from Ruth at livingwellspendingless.com about saving some money on groceries without cutting coupons! (How to Save BIG on Household Goods without leaving home) I use to love coupons, but now I hate how much time they take up, and I’d rather be reading, writing, or skating.
4. Thinking about chopping my hair again…yep, again. Found some inspiration for my hairdo board on pinterest.com What do you think? Should I do it???
(BONUS: one other favorite from this week is unsplash.com, where you can find BEAUTIFUL free photographs like the one here by Jonas Nilsson Lee. Usually, I use my own photos, but this one was so inspiring, and exactly where I want to be right now that I couldn’t pass it up.)
